This is the third picture of a small serie around the murdered marat. The original painting is by j.l. david from the year 1793. Briefly after marat was murdered, david became a order from the national-convent for a painting of this great french revolutionary man.

This adaption is an also revolutionary new hard edge, rendering method - agressiv and expressiv.....

this is an interesting interpretation of david's work. the only thing is the color scheme of the original(i think) was what made it so interesting, the pale of marat's body with the seafoam green of the bath stand.

nice piece. good work.
